 October 03 2009 TRANSITIONS: (First Reading) Transfer in Wally & Cheryl Standley from OHANA. BIBLE STUDY FOLLOW-UP: Would you like to help follow-up the responses to the Bible Study Invitation Cards we sent out? There will be help needed to 1) Correct and mail, or 2) Correct and deliver studies to those responded. There also may be an opportunity to conduct Bible Studies for everyone who would like to do so. There will be something to do for everyone who would like to help. Please plan on attending a meeting to be held on Sabbath, October 10th at 1:30 p.m. here at the church. We have raised the funds for the Bible Study Cards; further giving ti evangelism is still encouraged! WORTHY STUDENT FUND: School has begun again and there are those who want to attend Adventist schools, but sadly they cannot afford it. If you would like to help the church help them, mark your tithe envelope "worthy student" and help kids get a quality Christian education. LEHMAN WEDDING RECEPTION: Each of you are invited to join Jared and Jina in celebrating their mariage at a reception held in their honor, October 4, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sandy SDA Church. RSVP at www.lantolehmanwedding.com CHURCH PRAYER TIME CHANGING: The prayer group that has been meeting after church in the overflow foom will be meeting as of October 10, at 9:00 a.m. Everyone is still invited to join. MIDWEEK MANNA (PRAYER MEETING): The pastor is leading out in a Wednesday prayer meeting called "Midwek Manna" 7:00 p.m. at the church. All are welcome to come and worship. they are studying the bool called "Radical Prayer". COMING SOON TO YOU: In October the Oregon Conference and Andrews University will conduct a study to explore the important connections of your church in your community. If you have been chosen to take part in thes study you will receive a questionnaire through your church. Please fill this out and return it, if possible, on the day you receive it.
