As we go into our new service year we pray that god will speak to your heart, that you be willing to let God work through you. God provides many opportunities for Sandy church members to utilize their skills and spiritual gifts he has given each one. Jesus invites you to follow Him and challenges you to become involved in service to others.

Adult Sabbath School - The purpose of the Sabbath School is to make disciples for Christ. It includes the nurture of spiritual growth in members and prospective members, as well as the unchurched who join in the fellowship, study, sharing and service. The Sabbath School exists not only to minister to its members, but to train its members to minister to others. The Sabbath School is a school of Christian living, not just an event on Sabbath mornings. Here at Sandy church we break our Sabbath School time into two segments; one for sharing thoughts, music, singing and reports in a larger group setting and another for small group lessons study and prayer. Join one of our adult Sabbath school lesson study groups. Every Saturday morning, small groups get together to share what they learned from their study and how it has made a difference in their lives.

Children's Ministries - Areas of children's ministries programs may include some or all of the following: 1. Children's Sabbath School 2. Vacation Bible School 3. Children's Stories (During worship service) 4. Childcare (During special events) 5. Children's bulletins 6. A newsletter 7. Summer Day Camp 8. Special outings 9. Adventure Club 10. Pathfinders 11. Children's Church. ............. The children in our church are not just the future--they are actively included in the ministries of the church today. Through the ministry of children's Sabbath School we help children know God, to hear God’s Word, and to respond appropriately.

Community Services - Part of being a good neighbor is providing services to our surrounding community. Religious participation is not a requirement to receive services or volunteer with our agency.

Prayer Ministry - Prayer should be the backbone of every family, church, and ministry organization. Sandy Seventh-day Adventist Church has chosen to give prayer higher profile in our church by developing a prayer ministry.

Women's Ministries - Women today are commissioned to use the talents and opportunities God has given them to fulfill His eternal plan. The responsibility of sharing the Good News is the burden of all who call themselves Christians. If the church were not to fully utilize women’s gifts the church body would be denied the internal freedom under which it flourishes best. It would be denied the benefit of the spiritual and intellectual gifts of over half of its membership. Women would experience loss and those to whom she might minister also would lose the needed help. Women’s ministries involves encouraging women to discover and use their gifts.

Youth Ministries - Youth Ministries provides support and encouragement for young people at what can be a most critical part of their Christian experience.
